Acram Group is looking to hire accounting manager/bookkeeper to focus on two areas of the firm. The first is to assist the asset management team in the management of the company s property portfolio, which is current about 4MM square feet and growing. The second, will be to lead and execute the bookkeeping of the firms operating platform. The day-to-day details of the role are as follows:
Acram Group Real Estate Portfolio:
- Work directly with Acram Group s third-party accounting team at CBRE to manage the P&L across Acram s real estate holdings.
- Administer and maintain all aspects of accounts receivable process, including but not limited to:
- Tenant invoicing
- Bank deposits
- Cash receipts
- Preparing cash and accounts receivable journal entries
- Reconciling AR ledger
- Administer and maintain all aspects of accounts payable process, including but not limited to:
- Managing and processing vendor invoices
- Preparing cash and accounts payable journal entries
- Reconciling AP ledger
- Track spending from inception to closing of any new acquisition (or dead deal).
Acram Group Platform
- Manage the Acram Group Corporate P&L which includes all revenue and expense line items of the operating platform.
- Expense responsibility for non-property related items, i.e. human resources, administrative, T&E, IT, corporate research, etc.
- Work with all departments to develop annual budget for Acram Group platform.
The candidate must be hardworking and entrepreneurial individual, with a professional image and a rigorous attention to detail. The candidate must also be proactive, with ambition, drive and demand for a very high standard of excellence and be willing to work in an open and energetic environment. While Acram Group does have some flexibility, the role will be primarily an in-person position at Acram Group s headquarter office in Greenwich CT. Should the candidate live further than 25 miles from Greenwich CT, Acram will contemplate a commuting credit. The compensation for the role will be commensurate with the candidates experience and the overall market for similar positions.
Position Requirements:
- General knowledge and experience in real estate and/or the private equity business.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects.
- Familiarity with physical buildings and accounting software in the real estate industry is a plus
- YARDI experience a plus.
- Excellent references.
- BA/BS required.
