Role Description

We are currently looking for an Associate to join our team in the Los Angeles office. As an Associate, you will be afforded new challenges with the opportunity to work within a team that is dedicated to international capital and alternatives, allowing you to develop expertise in your discipline. This position also involves a significant role in business transactions including client and investor communication and continued hands-on training.

Essential Functions

• Working closely with senior team members on presentations and financial analysis
• Financial underwriting, due diligence review and transaction execution
• Performing comprehensive and in-depth company, real estate, and market analysis.
• Preparing marketing materials for clients

Education and Qualifications 

• A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for candidates concentrating in business, real estate, finance and/or accounting.

• 2+ years of commercial real estate, investment banking or other financial services industry experience.

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required 

• Prior real estate underwriting experience is required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively meet deadlines.
• Dedication to building a career in the financial services industry with a focus on real estate finance.
• Strong financial analysis and excel modeling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of deals using financial modeling techniques and a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently produce high quality work under tight time frames.
• Experience with drafting client presentations and marketing materials.
• Ability to leverage resources and databases to research sector trends across various asset classes and capital flows dynamics.
• Interest / experience towards international business; Asian language (Korean, Japanese or Chinese) skills a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
