Description
The Dermot Company, a New York City based real estate developer and operator, is seeking an Operations Analyst to perform asset management and property operations management work.
What You’ll Do:
• Monitor and analyze performance of properties
• Conduct market research to analyze asset performance against competitive properties
• Prepare analyses in Excel to analyze trends and/or property metrics and assist with special projects, as needed.
• Assist with preparation of presentations including business plans, investment memorandums, and quarterly board presentations.
• Provide support to property budgeting process
• Occasionally act as a company representative and point of contact with lenders, institutional investors, vendors, and contractors.
• Provide operational and analytical support to property management, marketing, and leasing agent personnel based upon the strategic plan with respect to each property.
• Participate in creating portfolio wide processes and procedures related to property management, sustainability and corporate initiatives
• Participate in regular operations and leasing meetings with property teams
• Evaluate and help implement various property management technology solutions
• Learn and help monitor compliance with regulatory requirements for all properties
• Create training tutorials on property management software for larger team
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s Degree, recent graduates welcome
• Up to 2 years of Property Operations, Asset Management, or related experience preferred. Internships included.
• General understanding of and keen interest in operations of multi-family real estate
• Highly proficient at Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (required)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
• Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to work independently balancing multiple projects
• Strong work ethic, integrity and commitment to meet deadlines are essential candidate attributes.

• Authorized to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
