We are looking for a Real Estate Joint Venture Manager. This role will navigate JV operations seamlessly. This person will become an expert on all the provisions, triggers, hurdles, critical dates, etc associated with the JV agreement and the related projects.
The best candidates will be comfortable with Real Estate transactions, Financing terms, contract review, and project management. Substantial experience with real estate acquisitions will be helpful. Candidates must be polished and experienced with C-level communication. Must be able to proactively, and reactively deliver precise, accurate messages to company owners, legal agents, and relevant consultants to promote operational success for the Joint Venture.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the entire life-cycle of the Joint Venture and tasks associated with it.
- Juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Understand and abide by the JV agreement language.
- Liaise with management, ownership, and relevant third-party services to protect and promote the successful completion of the Joint Venture objectives.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with Executives in both organizations, associated consultants, municipal officials, and related lenders as needed by the JV.
- Communicate any issues/problems/caveats or additional information to Corporate Management teams as soon as is needed
Who We Are Looking For:
- 7 or more years of experience with RE deals/acquisition/investment
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent (Master's or Certificates preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills including extensive experience with legal contracts and RE deal terminology
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience coordinating projects and assignment of resources a plus
- Effective time-management
