ABOUT DEDEAUX PROPERTIES
Los Angeles-based Dedeaux Properties, LLC (www.dedeauxproperties.com) (“Dedeaux” or “Company”) focuses on the investment and development of logistics-oriented properties and is affiliated with family-controlled DART Warehouse Corporation, a national full-service logistics provider founded in 1936. In addition to a portfolio of over 11 million square feet of industrial assets, Dedeaux Properties has an active pipeline of more than four million square feet of industrial properties including warehouse/distribution, truck terminals, trailer yards, and cold storage facilities.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Assistant [Construction or Development] Project Manager[/Project Coordinator] role is responsible for assisting the Dedeaux development management team execute on its development business plans, from initial acquisition, entitlements, and construction completion. Specific duties may include, but not limited to the following:
- Preparation of weekly project meeting agendas and minutes
- Coordinating and tracking submittals to governing agencies (with local California municipal and county experience a plus)
- Maintaining project tracking logs
- Assist with processing applications, setting up utilities, permitting, and processing payments to vendors and consultants with the Company’s accounting team
- Assist development team members in obtaining proposals from Architects, engineers, general contractors, etc.
- Prepare, track, and maintain development contracts and support development team with contract administration, issuance of contracts to various consultants, including Architects, engineers, general contractors, etc.
- Work alongside the Company’s Project Managers to prepare monthly status reports and updates to lenders, capital partners, and tenants
- Assist with acquisition due diligence, including obtaining proposals, preparing due diligence budgets, coordinating consultants, etc.
- Support the Company’s Asset Management team on transition from construction to operations as well as on renovation projects, tenant improvements and lease-up and disposition matters as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, engineering, construction, real estate, business or a related field a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills are required, including, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- 1-3 years of experience in real estate related field
- Must be able to work independently, be reliable and organized
- Must be professional, energetic, and positive
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as outstanding quantitative skills
- Salary negotiable based on experience
- Light travel may be required
